Fire Rats

The Fire Rats are an unaffiliated outlaw group operating across the Stanton and Pyro systems. Unlike the organized gangs such as the Nine Tails or XenoThreat, the Fire Rats operate as loose bands of criminals — opportunists who prey on travelers, miners, and haulers wherever profit can be found. Though lacking the organization and resources of larger outlaw factions, the Fire Rats compensate with unpredictability and willingness to take risks that more established groups would avoid. They are frequently encountered in deep space ambushes, raiding remote outposts, and hijacking small cargo shipments. Their lack of centralized leadership makes them difficult for law enforcement to predict or eliminate entirely.
