Browser Extension Privacy Policy

The extension activates only on robertsspaceindustries.com fleet pages when you click 'Sync RSI' in the popup.

It reads the ship names and quantities displayed on your RSI account page (Standalone and Game Package ships).

The extracted ship list is sent directly to your Outreach Syndicate account via a secure API call.

The extension never runs automatically in the background without your action.

Ship names and quantities visible on your RSI 'My Hangar' page — only when you trigger a sync.

Your Outreach Syndicate session token (stored locally in the browser) to authenticate the API request.

No browsing history, cookies, passwords, personal messages, or RSI account credentials are ever accessed.

Ship data is transmitted over HTTPS directly to the Outreach Syndicate API (outreach-syndicate.vercel.app) and stored in your Outreach Syndicate fleet.

Your session token is stored in the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) and is never shared with third parties.

No data is sent to any third-party analytics service by the extension itself.

activeTab — to read the content of the RSI fleet page you have open when you click Sync.

scripting — to inject a content script that extracts ship names from the page.

storage — to save your Outreach Syndicate session token locally so you stay signed in.

host permission for robertsspaceindustries.com — required to execute the content script on RSI pages only.

Ship data imported into your Outreach Syndicate account is kept for as long as your account is active and is deleted when you delete the entry, the fleet, or your account (within 30 days).

The session token stored locally in the extension is removed when you sign out or uninstall the extension.

You can remove the extension at any time through your browser's extension manager — this deletes all locally stored data.

You can request deletion of your fleet data from your Outreach Syndicate account settings.

Under GDPR and Quebec Law 25, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability.

The extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age (14 in Spain, 16 in Germany without parental consent).

We do not knowingly collect data from children below the applicable minimum age.

We may update this policy when the extension's functionality changes.

The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of the extension after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
