Dusters

The Dusters are a criminal outlaw pack operating in the Stanton system, specializing in mining-related crimes. They are known for robbing miners of their hauls and illegally operating mining equipment on other people's claims, making them a particular menace to independent miners and prospectors working remote asteroid fields and planetary surfaces. Modus Operandi: The Dusters target isolated mining operations, ambushing prospectors at their dig sites or intercepting them as they transport refined materials. They have been known to set up illegal mining operations on claims registered to other parties, essentially claim-jumping with armed enforcement. In-Game Encounters: • "Claiming a Stake" — Mission involving Dusters attempting to illegally mine someone else's claim. • "Appropriation" — Mission related to Dusters' theft operations. The Dusters represent the criminal underbelly of the mining industry in Stanton, exploiting the vast distances and sparse security coverage of the system's many moons and asteroid fields.
